Welcome to POPOUT-TEXT!

To install POPOUT-TEXT onto your hard disk, click on 'File'
in Windows' Program Manager, then click on 'Run'.  Type the 
command A:\INSTALL (assuming your floppy is drive A:).

POPOUT-TEXT is a character based stereogram generator,
capable of generating alpha-style stereogram text files 
with up to 8 levels of depth.

This product is Freeware, meaning that you are welcome
to use it and distribute it freely, with no registration
requirements.  When you distribute POPOUT-TEXT, we ask
only that you include all of the following files:

README.TXT   - This file.
INSTALL.EXE  - The POPOUT Install utility.  
INSTALL.INF  - The POPOUT Install Information file.
POPTEXT.EXE  - POPOUT-TEXT executable
POPTEXT.HLP  - POPOUT-TEXT Help File
SOURCE.TXT   - Sample Source File containing two squares at two different
               levels.
DEST.TXT     - Sample Destination file generated by POPOUT-TEXT, using  
               SOURCE.TXT as the Source File.
POPLITE.BMP  - Sample RDS Image generated by POPOUT-LITE.
POPPRO.BMP   - Sample Dual-Image Stereogram created by POPOUT-PRO.
POPOUT.INI   - Init file used to set POPOUT-TEXT defaults.
FILE_ID.DIZ  - A text file describing POPOUT-TEXT.

The following POPOUT products are also available from the 
authors of POPOUT-TEXT:

POPOUT-LITE is designed specifically for the everyday 
user who wants to create Random Dot Stereogram images 
from images that he or she has hand drawn using Paintbrush 
or something similar.  POPOUT-LITE will generate Black &
White, Random or Custom colored images with up to 16 levels 
of depth.

POPOUT-PRO, on the other hand, was designed for users who
want all of the capabilities of POPOUT-LITE, plus the ability
to generate print-quality images.  POPOUT-PRO will generate 
up to 256 levels of depth, can read and write Targa formatted 
images, and has the ability to create Dual-Image stereograms.
POPOUT-PRO has a number of additional options, such as the
ability to filter Targa Source images, and create either
the common Divergent or the less common Convergent type
of stereoscopic images.
